Jeremy I’m right there with you. I’m 38 and starting today. My problem is not veggies it’s the kind. I like corn, carrots, broccoli but that’s about it. I’m 256 and I’m try to shoot for 220 also. I went to 208 a few years ago doing the no carbs thing but as you can see I’m right back where I started. Have you heard anything about the order you are suppose to juice the items in? I guess it’s suppose to matter. Good luck

Wow…we are like twins. I like the same veggies you like…I am even okay with broccoli, zucchini, and squash…but none of this leafy green stuff. It has been okay so far…except for the cabbage. I think I read that you should do the soft stuff first and then the harder stuff so that the harder stuff pushes it through. Where do you live? I am originally from Chicago and now down in Charleston, South Carolina so I never really learned to eat very healthy. I also have done Atkins like 3 times…worked every time but I don’t feel like it is very healthy…actually I feel like it screwed up my metabolism. Day one for you today, huh. Hang in there. Let’s do this! How many days are you doing? What kind of juicer do you have?

I’m in Cleveland. What is considered hard or soft? I know what you mean about healthy eating! Atkins like diet took me down 60lbs in 90 days but it was hard. yea I definately saw it come back as soon as I stopped. We got this!

@aschoolleader Hard stuff as in beets, apples, carrots and soft stuff is the green leafy stuff. I hope it went well today. 2 of my 3 drinks today were really bad but I am not giving up!! Day #3 for me tomorrow.
@mcipolletta Good to have someone from Charleston on this journey! Where in Charleston do you live? I live off of Dorchester near Wescott Plantation so I got some stuff from the Farmers Market at the corner of Bacons Bridge and Dorchester and the rest of the stuff from Publix. I got a huge variety of stuff to start with and I’m gonna weed out the stuff I don’t really care for…trying to still leave it at an 80/20 veggie/fruit ratio. Where are you currently and what is your goal?

I started on Aug/ 1st but need a group to stick to… Hope you guys dont mind. Ive had technical issues with my scale so havent really been able to weigh myself however my clothes are fitting better and i feel much healthier overall. Im 24 5’9, I started at 255 lbs and My goal is 50lbs and then an additional 40 to reach my ultimate goal. Ive been overweight since I was 15 with a weightloss and normal weight at 19 for a year and put it all back on… and then some. Ive been telling myself for 4 years that im going to diet and lose the weight snd finally 9 days ago actually took the plunge. What are everyones goals and how long do you plan to juice for? Im going for 60 days and orignally was going to just do a 3 day to get myself going but figured.. why stop now? I have tons of awesome recipes and tricks for hiding the aweful taste of some of the leafy green craptastic nasty taste.. so let me know if you want me to post any. I have one that taste alot like tomato soup that I enjoy. And some killer fruit juices. Juice on guys.

Hello Everyone, I’m just completed day 4 of all juice. I am feeling the detox effects pretty bad today, low energy, minor headaches, and fuzzy teeth. I’m staying strong though. I turned down pizza and cookies and and all kinds of junk my co-workers bring in. The juices seem to be tasting worse as time passes but I gulp them down. I’m 25 and need to loose like 50 lbs. I’ve been big all my life and it’s only getting worse.
I have a cheap scale and when I started it said 254 and on the beginning of day 4 it said 241! I’m sure alot is water weight and wastes leaving the body but its nice to see.
choosefit3 – I’m interested in your tomato soup juice and any tips you might have.
How is everyone coping with the first week or the detox process? I feel like I’m getting mentally weaker as the days pass. I can’t wait for the energy and clairity to come. I read other post about the positive and it’s very reassuring but seems so far away.
Good Luck everyone, keep on keep’n on

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED…I would be willing to create a little spreadsheet showing our beginning, current, and goal weights and track our progress. If you are interested email me the following: Real name and username, city and state, beginning/current/goal weight, start date, type and length of your reboot. I think thats all I need to get started. Once I have that I will get it on a spreadsheet and email it out to everyone. I am confident that we can all stick together and motivate each other to reach our goals!! Goo Luck…Jeremy

I started on 8/08 as well. The first day was hard for me, especially in the evening, but it’s been getting easier and easier. I am 26, 5’11″ and weigh probably around 300 pound. 260 is the lowest I have been in my adult life. I always grew up a big kid and kinda figured I could never change that. I didn’t weigh myself to start, partly because I don’t have a scale and the one at my parents house doesn’t go above 280. There is nothing like the feeling of making a scale reset. I will start weighing at day ten and go from there. I don’t want to be too obsessed with a number. I like feeling it in the way my clothes fit. My goal is 60 days but I may go longer if I am up to it when I get there. Right now I am just taking it one day at a time. My favorite juice so far has been carrot, apple, and ginger. I love it.

Ok today was a test of will. I normally don’t even think about eating and now its all I can do to not think about it. I grabbed the bottle and took a sip. I was wondering how do you handle it at work when you cant go make a juice real quick but all the reading says to drink it as soon as you make it. Are you suppose to stick with the mean green like in the movie or can you drink other recipes to achieve the results they did. I know right now its going to be hard to do this same recipe everyday. Does anyone have a recipe for a cheeseburger juice.

aschoolleader.. You can have any veggies and any fruits you want. Although there is some debate in the amount of fruit to consume because of the natural sugar.. I have lists of recipes. I will post some and I have found that the best way to cover up nasty veggie taste is lemon. Also the juice is good for 24 hours. It is best to drink it right away because it doesnt have a chance to lose any of the nutrients, however Ive been making enought juice in the morning to last me all day so that it saves time and mess.
here are a few recipes
My favorite
Tropical punch
1 kiwi
10 strawberries
1 orange
1 mango
2 cups pinapple
1/2 cup cocunut water
1 pear… This one is delicous and i make it for breakfast on the weekendsBerry elixcer
1 cup strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blackberrie
1/2 cup blueberry
1 cucumber
1 tblespoon agave nectarHeart Healthy veggie juice
2 tomatos
1 stalk celery
1 carrot
1 cup brocolli
1 cucumber
1/2 lemondinner juice
1 lg sweet potato
1 carrot
1 bell pepper
2 large beets
2 golden del. apple
There is a few receipes that I enjoy. Feel free to ask for more.Ashley Allegro Reboot start date: Aug/1stYou must be logged in to reply to this topic. -

Hello there, also started on 8/08 so I will be joining your group! I’m 24 y/o in Maryland, 5’2 starting @ 160 lbs.. would love to see 130 lbs again. I’m definitely not a veggie person but I’m pretty determined to stick to this! Right now I’m going for the 10 days and hopefully I can push past that, we’ll see.
Day 1 – felt okay and optimistic, all juice combos were horrible and grainy.
Day 2 – felt great in the A.M. then just felt horrible from noon until 3am. I felt starved, deprived, irritated, tired. Juice combos a little better.. still grainy.
Day 3 – woke up and felt hungry, but not starving. did a sea salt cleanse (natural laxative) and felt amazing/energized the rest of the day (definitely recommend doing this). juice was so much better today.. I realized it was the texture that was off-putting, not so much the taste. Adding an orange will give a creamier texture.. and to me, this was more filling/satisfying than a watery mix.my new morning go-to:
* orange (whole) x1
* strawberries (small) x6
* pineapple … I don’t know just how much it was, maybe 1/6 of a pineapple, not that big. That’s my update, we can do this!

I can not tell you how much this group is helping me. To see people going through the same issues I’m having is great. I am on day 3 and I’m down 8 lbs. (256 to 248). My goal is 220. I am looking for a shopping list because I hate seeing recipes and then not having the ingredients in the house. I have also decided to do different juices like the one Jeremy just listed with carrots, apples, and ginger. I can’t do just the great green the whole time. Well I’m off to the market with my container and my shopping list. Good luck.

Day 4 here, I’m loving it! I feel totally energized, not hyper, but.. ah, no headache, no cravings, no overwhelming hunger, just energy! I’m finding that my feelings of hunger are changing, it’s not a constant nagging feeling but more of a distant reminder that says “hey, if you wouldn’t mind.. I’d like some food soon”… instead of “Feed me now! ohhh won’t you feed me?! I’m dying, please NOW!” <– total desperation
haha!Anyway, fight through the pain.. I know it's hard but you can do it and you'll feel much better once you're over that hump! I think I might do a little power walking today, not necessarily to speed things up, but because I just feel so good
.. let's hope this continues! You must be logged in to reply to this topic. -

Nice work everyone! Keep it up! Almost done with day 4 but it is my first day of vacation with my wife’s family. Lots of food…desserts…etc for 7 long days! No way am I letting up though. I am feeling great. I’m not gonna weigh in until I get back home next weekend.
Aschoolleader – how did your shopping trip go? Did you like the apple, carrot, ginger?
I had mean green tonight and it was actually really good. Not sure if my buds are changing or not but this stuff is growing on me.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE…HANG IN THERE AND DON’T GIVE UP! This extra baggage will be gone in not time! You must be logged in to reply to this topic. -
